Metro Cinema

Metro cinema is Mumbai’s third Art Deco cinema opened to public on 8thJune, 1938. Listed with a Grade IIA classification under the Heritage Regulations of 1995 owing to its external & internal architectural features, the single screen cinema was retrofitted to house 7 smaller screens ranging from 30 seats to 290 seats. The design elements in the lobby including art-deco chandeliers, wooden paneling on pillars, metal railings, glass panels with wooden frame have been retained to its original state maintaining the architectural / interior design style of its era
