SPA Vijayawada

A open architectural competition to explore innovative ideas for planning of the campus, to evolve an iconic architectural expression that would add a sense of identity to the city of Vijayawada. Inspired by the Fibonacci Spiral, the buildings follows a smooth curve intercepted by voids and interconnecting spaces along with a staggered skyline, with building heights varing from lower toward road and higher towards the back of the plot. The overvall mass is broken up into many smaller buildings, at the same time giving a perception of a unified, singular building, overlooking onto the landscaped court.
